On Account of Mr. Sunday
On Account of Mr. Sunday. It is said that some of the town committee give as its reason for hurrying matters so much, the excuse that Evangelist Sunday wjjl be here Thursday and the town' committee wanted all political business out of the way before the r'ellglous meetings began. How considerate of our committee! Mr. Sunday should be informed of this and requested to give the boys a seat on the platform. This is also a pointer to him. Hereafter he can point to the Republican town committee, of Sterling, 111., U. S. A., how it took snap judgment on the people of that town In order to be ready to take an active part in evangelistic work. With a few fervid pointers from Mr. Sunday our pious town committee should soon become fairly good exhortcrs;, so much so, at least, that they can start a Salvation army band. Funny, isn't it?
