The death of Dwight L. Moody removes from the field of activity a unique, powerful and successful laborer in the moral vineyard. It is no exaggeration to say that literally millions have sat under the sound of Mr. Moody's voice and felt the thrill of his wonderful eloquence. He was probably the most successful evangelist that this country, or any other, ever produced. His place will not be filled probably for generations, if ever. His labors were arduous, but fruitful. He has gone to his reward.
