After the evangelist had given the Knoxville women's whist club a terrific scoring -for raisins money for charity .at a whist party Mrs. M. Detaggart, president of the W. H. C. and in charge of the -'charity fund, arose In her seat 'and' indignantly asserted she would not accept such money under any conditions. The members of the whist club are prominent society women, who had expected to puttheir fund with that raised at a baseball game in which Sunday played center field. The bitter, denunciation has stirred the whole town. -
