Demonstration Night

"Demonstration Night" will be held tonight at 7:30 o'clock a the Calvary Baptist church. This is the closing meeting of the Dally Vacation Bible school which, has by been in session for the past two weeks, and which has been centered the theme "God's Commandos." The following program will be presented under the supervision of the leaders, the Rev. Paul G. Jackson and the Misses Fern Gibson and Fern Erway: march, "Onward Christian Soldiers"; flag salute, Bible salute, invocation; theme song, "V is for Victory"; recitation by intermediates, "The Apostles' Creed"; hymn, "Faith of Our Fathers," congregation; memory verses and songs, primary department; object lesson "How's Your Heart?" Miss Fern Gibson; songs "Draw the Bolt," "All Your Heart," "It's Springing Up," and "It's Springtime! in My Heart," chorus; talk, " William Carey Missionary Hero," Phillip Ward; recitation " Ephesians 6:10-18 ," juniors; songs, "Step by Step," "The Faith Line," and "Keep in Tune with Heaven," "All Power is Given Unto Me," chorus: "The Wordless Book," Judy Patterson, Bernard Holyoke, Charles Adams, Betty Irvine, and Martha Jackson; song, "The Wordless Book Chorus"; recitation of scripture, 2 Tim. 2:1-12 , intermediates; Christian soldier choruses, "The Christian Soldier," "I Have Christ in My Heart," and " I'm in the Lord's Army ," chorus; object lesson, "The Gospel Bell," the Rev. Paul G. Jackson; announcements and offering; piano offertory, transcription of " Onward, Christian Soldiers, " by Albert A Lane; hymn, "America," congregation; benediction.

There will be an exhibition of handiwork done by the children of the various departments during the school.
